Rich Allen is a horse rancher in Northern California, USA.  He is currently Owner/Operator of Moss Beach Ranch, a 50 acre facility that features horse boarding, summer horse camps for kids, lesson programs for adults and kids, horse leasing, and a guided intimate trail riding program.

Married to Lauren Schechtman for the last quarter century, Rich has 3 children, Lena, Eamonn, and Kelly.  Lauren is a consultant and co-owns and operates Moss Beach Ranch. Lena resides in Dallas, Texas, is married to Lee and has two children, Lynda and Eric.  Eamonn is a Sergeant in the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department, is married to Sandy and has 3 children, Jackson, Declan, and Peyton.  Kelly is studying Mechanical Engineering at San Diego State University.

Rich spent 3 years in the United States Army, July 1970 to July 1973.  He spent 1971-1972 in the Republic of Vietnam.
